Energy Vault is looking for a Field Service Technician to work on solving problems and ensuring the successful operation of our Battery Energy Storage Assets at our Uralla, NSW site. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance services on utility and commercial energy storage products. Applicants should be selfmotivated team players with a positive attitude. Your Mission Perform scheduled preventative and unscheduled corrective maintenance activities on energy storage products to maintain warranty coverage and system availability for longterm service agreements. Troubleshoot and promptly respond to system faults and outages. Respond to corrective maintenance cases and update online case logs accurately; conduct electrical testing and related diagnostics. Complete daily reports and keep accurate records of all site work, fault resolutions, steps taken, and replaced parts. Write and execute HV switching programs, issue HV access permits, monitor permit controls, and perform maintenance on HV assets. Adhere to site procedures, safety standards, local regulations and all HSE best practices; proactively enforce compliance. Work closely with the Site Manager, Operations, Engineering Systems, and HSE teams; support as requested. Provide deliverables required to comply with the terms of longterm service agreements. Respond to customer concerns about system performance or functionality. Maintain flexibility to provide support outside your home location, as required. Perform other related duties as assigned per our growth and diversity across applications. Ensure all companyissued property is well kept. Competently monitor faults, alarms, and performance of generating units via SCADA; troubleshoot connectivity issues and network familiarity. Your Background Required More than three years of experience in largescale battery energy storage and energy generation projects. Safetyconscious with a demonstrated ability to work effectively on largescale projects with strong safety standards and protocols. Electrical trade experience troubleshooting power electronics and medium and highvoltage controls (AC/DC). Experience servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting utilityscale BESS projects; experience with largescale PV/solar and wind generation acceptable. Previous experience with power/hand tools and electrical equipment for commissioning and maintenance. Current electrical licence (Agrade electrician), driving licence with a safe driving record, White Card, and LVR/CPR certification. Experience and accreditation in NSW HV switching. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Operate confidently with minimal supervision while building productive relationships across teams. Navigate multiple computer applications and technology independently. Work at great heights, in extreme environments, perform prolonged repetitive duties, lift at least 20kg frequently. Have reliable transportation. May be required to pass a preemployment medical, drug & alcohol testing, and participate in ongoing site testing. Preferred Certifications or previous training in renewableenergy power inverters. Understanding of various programming languages and equipment networking. Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%. Comfortable thriving in fastpaced, rapidgrowth environments. A passion for sustainability, the companys mission, and vision is a bonus.
