A bit about your role As a Customer Field Technician, youll deliver handson installation, repair, activation and connection services in customers homes, working across both indoor and outdoor environments. Youll use a variety of tools and test equipment to install, commission and service inhome technologies, consistently applying safe work practices and risk controls onsite. This is an active, fieldbased role involving tasks such as lifting and carrying equipment, working at heights or in ceiling spaces, and moving between kneeling and standing positions. Youll apply strong technical knowledge, methodical faultfinding and attention to detail to complete work efficiently, safely and to a high standard across varied home settings. Alongside technical work, youll provide clear and respectful inpremise customer serviceexplaining findings, next steps and outcomes so customers feel informed and confident. Youll also have opportunities to build your capability across additional activation and connection tasks through structured training and support from experienced colleagues. A bit about you You have current or previous experience working in customers homes as an installer, repairer or service technicianfor example across air conditioning, pay TV, security systems, garage doors or similar inhome technologies. Youre comfortable using hand and power tools, reading job information, completing installations, testing and diagnosing faults, and following safety procedures to identify hazards and control risks. You communicate clearly with customers, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and youre eager to keep building your technical skills through structured training. A valid drivers licence is required. You consistently follow safety procedures, identify hazards, and take responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment for yourself, your colleagues, and customers. Youre technically capable, detail-focused, and able to adapt to different home environments while maintaining quality and professionalism.
