Lead the safe delivery of critical remediation works on a major energy transition project.Our Client has a requirement for a Remediation Supervisor, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Liverpool Bay.Role Purpose:Supervise subcontractors delivering soil and groundwater remediation worksEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of remediation activitiesOversee coordination of remediation works within wider construction operationsJob Role Responsibilities:Provide oversight of soil classification, waste management, and soil reuse decisionsSupervise and monitor subcontractor daily remediation operations, ensuring compliance with RAMS, remediation strategy, and principal contractor standardsCoordinate remediation works with other site operations to avoid clashes and maintain safe working conditionsOversee groundwater management activities including pumping, treatment systems, monitoring, and discharge controlsEnsure all reuse decisions comply with CL:AIRE DoWCoP, the Materials Management Plan, or project-specific reuse criteriaMonitor environmental controls such as dust suppression, odour management, noise mitigation, and surface water protectionReview and sign off subcontractor daily records, including waste transfer notes, stockpile logs, and site diariesMaintain full compliance with CDM duties and principal contractor responsibilitiesExperience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:35 years experience in soils remediation or similar project-based activitiesCSCS Supervisor (or equivalent)SSSTS or SMSTS certificationStrong knowledge of soils remediation techniquesExperience supervising subcontractors on-siteFamiliarity with site investigation processesBenefits:Opportunity to work on a high-profile project.Exposure to complex, large-scale remediation worksCollaborative site environment within a major infrastructure programmeCompany informationAt First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
