Job Description Assist in the delivery of Import and the acceptance of Export Freight to customers and the delivery of total customer satisfaction. Permanent Part-Time opportunity located at the Mascot Freight Terminal 7-Day Rotational Roster The Agent Freight Operations is responsible for coordinating the daily allocation and safe processing of import and export freight in compliance with Customs, Quarantine, and Dangerous Goods standards. It involves monitoring performance to meet service levels, ensuring accurate clerical support for freight acceptance and delivery, and providing operational guidance to staff. The position also requires maintaining high corporate service standards and adhering to all group management system policies. Youll have The ability to work a 7-day rotational shift roster Demonstrated clerical and administrative skillset High attention to detail and accuracy Solid numerical ability Extensive knowledge of airfreight operations processes A good understanding of regulatory requirements e.g. Dangerous Goods, Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service, and Australian Customs Service The ability to thrive both in team settings and when working independently Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines Willingness to obtain CAT 2 Airside Driving Authority The ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification Clear and met all requirements of an Airport Security Identification Card Qantas is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
