Primary Responsibilities Operate equipment and perform tasks in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures Ensure product quality and packaging standards are maintained and comply with delivery targets Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E) Essential Understanding of basic safety principles Ability to work autonomously and maintain a high level of activity across all shifts Ability to work various shifts Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment Basic understanding of quality principles Desirable Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with automated machineryAbility to identify problems and resolve or contribute to resolution thereof Forklift licence Experience and knowledge of material handling Basic computer literacy skills Applicants must also be prepared to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.
