Part-Time Nanny Russell Lea, NSW Start Date: Early April 2026 Contract Term: Long Term /Permanent role Pay: $45 per hour (Dependent on experience) Hours and Days 1 day per week Thursday: 8:00 am 5:30 pm About the Family A warm and welcoming family in Russell Lea, NSW are seeking a kind, patient and experienced nanny to care for their baby girl (12 months old). The family values respect, kindness and clear boundaries, and are looking for someone who will nurture her confident and vibrant personality while providing a calm and supportive environment. Both parents are very involved, and there may be times when one parent is working from home. The Role This is a gentle, child-focused role caring for a young baby in a relaxed home environment. A typical day may include: Engaging the baby in play, music and age-appropriate activities Supporting feeding based on hunger cues Settling her for naps (typically around midday for approximately 2 hours) Encouraging development such as movement, standing and interaction Providing a calm, nurturing and attentive presence throughout the day The baby enjoys music, babbling, dancing and interactive play, and the family is looking for someone who will actively engage with her and support her development. Household Duties Light household support is appreciated when time permits, including: Preparing simple meals (breakfast and lunch reheating or basic prep) Loading/unloading the dishwasher Moving laundry from washer to dryer The child is always the priority, and it is completely understood that some days household tasks may not be completed.
