About The Role Were seeking a Data Power Platform Governance Analyst to support the stability, governance and ongoing improvement of business critical reporting and low code applications. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Power BI reporting, improving governance standards and assessing the suitability of existing Power Platform solutions to ensure they are reliable, supportable and aligned to broader technology standards. In this hands on position, youll act as a central gatekeeper across reporting and low code applications, working closely with key stakeholders. Youll focus on stabilising existing foundations, reducing single person dependency, improving documentation and change control, and providing clear recommendations on the future state of key Power Apps and automations. You Should Have Strong hands on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and report lifecycle management Demonstrated experience across Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint or Dataverse integrations Proven capability in governance, standards and platform stabilisation, not just solution delivery Experience working in complex operational environments such as mining, energy, manufacturing, government or large enterprise Ability to document, rationalise and simplify existing solutions Understanding of Microsoft Graph and its role in Power Platform and Microsoft 365 integrations Experience assessing technology suitability at a system or portfolio level Familiarity with Digital Technology and enterprise platform support models Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain risks, limitations and options Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders Key Responsibilities Act as the central owner for Power BI reports Implement governance standards across data models, change control, versioning, testing and break fix management Improve the robustness and stability of reporting against upstream system changes Review existing Power Apps and automations supporting operational processes Assess applications for performance, stability, cost and licensing implications, scalability, supportability and alignment to enterprise standards Provide clear recommendations on whether applications should be retained, remediated or retired Identify pathways to more suitable and supported platforms where required Reduce reliance on single person knowledge and informal fixes Establish clear documentation and handover artefacts Improve accountability by making ownership, support models and escalation paths explicit Work with stakeholders to understand information needs and translate them into practical, supportable reporting and application solutions Provide clear communication on risks, limitations and solution options Support the embedding of sustainable practices so the role can step down at the end of the engagement The Benefits Opportunity to play a key role in stabilising business critical Power BI reporting and Power Platform applications Exposure to governance, technology assessment and capability uplift across a complex environment Remote based role #J-18808-Ljbffr
