About the role Assisting in creating a company our residents love, youll be the face of the People & Culture team for our employees across our Brisbane homes in Queensland. No two days will be the same in this diverse role. One day your focus could be on coaching and supporting our frontline leaders on engaging teams and building culture, and the next you could be advising on complex and often sensitive people matters. Requirements The core foundational HR expertise and skills you will bring to this role: Lead people & culture initiatives aligned with the broader people strategy Leverage your wellrounded talent management experience focused on driving culture and retention Use your ability to coach and develop employees at all levels to build leadership capability Take a balanced, pragmatic and humancentred approach to complex IR and ER matters Bring a deep understanding of how to interpret and apply industrial instruments Drive transformational change; collaborate on projects to embed People & Culture initiatives into operations and ensure success and sustainability of new practices Be the valued partner to your key stakeholders with an adaptable style that builds strong and trusted relationships Facilitate workshops, training and education to homebased employees at all levels in a creative, interactive way that makes learning fun Demonstrate a growth mindset to stretch and develop areas of your own skills Traits that will help you succeed Your pragmatic approach and curiosity to understand issues below the surface level Your genuine care for people and doing the right thing Demonstrated application of partnering skills in a P&C/HR Business Partner role and experience working in a shared service model Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing leaders to create thriving workplace cultures and build autonomy in people leadership Ability to create positive working relationships and influence across a broad range of stakeholders Experience delivering change initiatives into the business and supporting leaders implement change Confidence to facilitate training and leadership workshops Demonstrated ability to navigate complex ER matters within bestpractice framework Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) Demonstrated ability to operate in a fastpaced, ambiguous environment Ability to travel as operationally required and for team development Whats in it for you?
