Number Of Positions Available7 About The Role You will play a key role in delivering our award-winning model of care and make a real difference to residents quality of life. You are responsible for the delivery of personal care and assistance to meet individual needs of residents, providing care with compassion, respect, integrity and dignity. You will work under limited supervision and in accordance with each residents care plan. Ensure the privacy and dignity of residents is maintained at all times and that all personal interactions reflect respect and compassion. Assist in managing medication using medication compliance aids. Recognise and respond to changes in residents health and well-being. Complete simple wound dressings. Implement continence programs. Attend to routine checks: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, blood sugar. Assist in managing residents with diabetes. Maintain accurate documentation throughout each shift. Assist in the development of resident care plans. About You We are looking for candidates who are committed to providing excellence in care and the best possible quality of life for our residents. We Are Looking For Candidates With An appreciation of and ability to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army. Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and a current First Aid Certificate. An understanding and commitment to truly person-centred care. Knowledge of WHS and infection control principles. Understanding of residents changing care needs and how this translates in AN-ACC reviews. Computer literacy and experience with documentation. Excellent communication skills.
