We are looking for you to undertake a traineeship in Pathology Collection with us. This is an entry-level position, ideal for candidates who are eager to learn and build a career in healthcare. Full training and ongoing support will be provided while you complete your Certificate III in Pathology Collection, setting you up with the skills and confidence to succeed in this rewarding field. What You''ll Be Doing This is an entrylevel trainee role where you will learn how to collect pathology specimens and support laboratory and reception activities in a hospital setting. With close supervision and onthejob training, you will contribute to safe, accurate and patientcentred pathology services while working towards the successful completion of a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or Pathology Assistance, developing the skills and competencies required to work as a Pathology Collector. Requirements A genuine interest and willingness to undertake on the job training in pathology Collections or Laboratory Skills within a Hospital environment. A willingness and the ability to attend the Registered Training organisation and work towards obtaining a Certificate III in Pathology Collections/ Pathology Assistance Do you have any preexisting qualifications related to Pathology or Science/ Healthcare? If so, what are your qualifications? Ability to maintain high quality work output while managing competing priorities in a fast paced hospital environment. Customer service skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and clinical staff. Data entry skills including high attention to detail.
