The Position Be a part of a globally recognised freight forwarder in air, ocean and ground transportation. This role will work under their customs brokerage organization, who operate independently of the global brand in Australia. They have offices all over Australia and the world and are looking for their next Customs Broker to join their team! A 6-months Fixed-Term Contract opportunity for a Customs Broker, that will initially be based on-site at their Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane office during the first 1-2 weeks of training and then will be fully remote. Responsibilities Classify and lodge clearances for import and export commodities Liaise with clients regarding customs requirements to expedite clearances Liaise with clients, Government departments and suppliers Assist with air and sea freight operational processes as required, although most air freight due to urgent needs of the medical supply industry.
