OverviewA unique opportunity exists for a qualified Swimming Pool Inspector to improve community safety through the inspection and regulation of swimming pool barriers across the city. Working within the Environmental Health and Building Certification team, this role delivers customer focused regulatory services, balancing compliance with education and community engagement to achieve improved safety outcomes.ResponsibilitiesInspect swimming pool barriers for compliance with legislation and Australian StandardsAssess and determine swimming pool compliance certificate applicationsInvestigate complaints and provide clear advice to pool owners and stakeholdersPrepare compliance notices, technical reports and legal documentationContribute to policy, process improvement and represent Council as a technical expertAbout YouYou are a qualified and registered Swimming Pool Inspector with strong legislative knowledge and a commitment to community safety.
