As a Youth Worker, youll be right at the heart of our Permanency Support Program, supporting young people aged 1118 who have experienced trauma and neglect. This is a high-impact role working with complex casesit can be demanding, but its also incredibly rewarding for people who thrive on challenge, purpose, and making a real difference. Youll work in our homes across the Central Coast, providing safe, stable, trauma-informed care and helping young people build resilience, confidence, and brighter futures. Role Details: Permanent part-time position 30 hours per week Multiple house locations across the Central Coast 24/7 rotating roster including morning, afternoon, evening and sleepover shifts Weekend and public holiday work as part of the roster Youll Thrive in This Role If You: Build strong, authentic connections with young people and teams Stay calm, resilient, and solution-focused in complex situations Communicate with empathy, respect, and professionalism Understand professional boundaries and safeguarding Want a role that stretches you, supports you, and helps you grow What Youll Need: Diploma of Community Services (or currently studying) or willingness to enroll Experience in youth work (desirable) Strong understanding of trauma and its impact on young people Working With Children Check & Criminal History Check Valid NSW Drivers Licence Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement) Why Choose CatholicCare?
