With Visy, youre not just a driver youre part of a team where your contributions are valued and your career can accelerate. #Logisticsdonedifferently Location: Depot that will be based out of Gillman, SA Hours: AM, PM, Linehaul Responsibilities Running heavy rigids, semi, Bdouble, Adouble combinations. Conduct thorough pretrip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant. Ensure timely and efficient pickup and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules. Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation. Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws. Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported. Qualifications A valid HR/HC/MCL licence with a minimum of 2 years recent Australian driving experience. Experience with tailliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers. Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes. Provide a full 5year demerit point history report. Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment. Excellent communication and timemanagement skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws. BFM certification or willingness to obtain. Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment. Medical and background checks required, including drug & alcohol testing. Must have full working rights in Australia.
