This rewarding role delivers high-quality palliative care nursing to valued clients in the comfort of their own homes across northern and central Adelaide. Whats on offer Fixed-term, part-time (0.8 FTE) position until 2 August 2027. Based in Parafield or Keswick, supporting clients across northern and central suburbs. Negotiable days across Monday to Friday | 9:00am 5:00pm. Competitive hourly rate + super. Up to $18,550 taxfree salary packaging. Comprehensive induction and onboarding, including: Twoweek induction programme National induction CVAD and catheter workshops (subject to timing) 1220 buddy shifts prior to independent practice. The ability to work autonomously while being supported by a highly experienced palliative care team. Ongoing training, professional development with our Palliative Nurse Educator Facilitator. Access to wellbeing resources. What were looking for Minimum 12 months general nursing experience, with strong assessment skills. Palliative care experience (desirable). Experience in acute, community and/or aged care settings. Exposure to complex clinical tasks such as Syringe Drivers, catheters, drains, PICC management and wound care, both routine and complex (highly desirable). A strong clientcentred, collaborative approach to care. A flexible, teachable attitude and commitment to ongoing learning. Excellent time management, communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills. A current full Australian drivers licence. The role Deliver specialist palliative and endoflife nursing care to clients in their own homes, supporting comfort, dignity and quality of life. Manage a communitybased caseload, completing palliative assessments, admissions, care planning and symptom management autonomously. Provide handson clinical care, including wound management, catheter care, pleural and ascitic drains, syringe drivers and endoflife medications. Apply a broad range of general nursing skills in a complex community setting. Liaise with external stakeholders, including CAPS, SAPS, NAPS, GPs and SA Health, to ensure coordinated, highquality care. Support clients, families and next of kin through lifelimiting illness with holistic, personcentred nursing care, respectful of individual values and preferences. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary palliative care team and in partnership with SAH Care Partners. Build strong therapeutic relationships while delivering compassionate, respectful and professional care.
