The team Reporting to the Team Lead, Animal Breeding, this role sits within the Biological Services team in the Research Infrastructure Function. The team supports critical research activities across the University and broader scientific community. Experience Experience in animal husbandry, including breeding and Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) practices Strong technical skills in procedures such as injections, biopsies or anesthesia support Knowledge of Animal Ethics Committees (AEC), Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) and compliance requirements with accurate recordkeeping Experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS), infection control and aseptic techniques Ability to train and guide users in safe animal handling and facility procedures Our commitment to inclusion and diversity We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion where diversity is celebrated and everyone feels respected and valued.
