About The Role We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to operate out of our Adelaide branch. The role is fulltime and permanent. Gas industry experience is highly regarded but not essential; training will be provided. Duties & Responsibilities Maintenance and repair of industrial gas, LPG and dry ice production systems, minimising equipment downtime. Preventative and breakdown maintenance of production/filling plants, customer installations, tanker & ISOs, including all related activities. Operate MEX as required printing work orders, completing associated maintenance tasks, filing completed work orders, and updating MEX as new equipment is installed. Ensure that all work, both on and offsite, is carried out using the work permit system. Assist in ensuring that all spare parts are stored and catalogued. Perform any other reasonable tasks as instructed by the direct supervisor. Other general duties as required. Skills & Experience Trade qualification: Fitter, Boiler Maker, Gas Plumber. Capacity to take decisive action in response to business performance issues while prioritising safety. Proactive and selfmotivated to complete tasks on time.
