The Supporting Children after Separation Program (SCASP) aims to support the wellbeing of children under the age of 18 years experiencing separated or separating families, and difficult family relationships. The program helps children to address relationship issues arising from these circumstances and provides opportunities for the to participate in decisions that impact them. Join our SCASP program in East Perth where you will provide intake, assessment, feedback and a range of ageappropriate interventions including individual counselling and group work with children. This is permanent, parttime role (22.5 hours per week) based in Gosnells. Youll work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Skills and Experiences Tertiary degree (4 years) in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Counselling or other related discipline Demonstrated knowledge of child counselling and group work models in their application Demonstrated knowledge and application of Family Systems theory Knowledge of the impact of parental separation on children including an understanding of how conflict affects children Experience in advocating and promoting for and behalf of children, young people and their family This role requires a current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Clearance. A police record is not an automatic barrier to employment with us.
