As we continue to grow, were seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller to take full responsibility for financial operations and contribute to the broader commercial strategy of the business.About the RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director, this standalone role is responsible for overseeing all financial functions including reporting, payroll, compliance, budgeting, and system administration. Youll work closely with both internal stakeholders and external advisors, leveraging MYOB Acumatica to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial information.This role offers true ownership of the finance function with the opportunity to drive system improvements and support business growth through insightful reporting and strategic input. Key duties include:Prepare and manage monthly financial reports including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsManage one direct report responsible for bookkeeping & AR/APOversee accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and credit controlAdminister payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlement complianceEnsure full compliance with ATO obligations including BAS, PAYG, FBT, and income taxLead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in alignment with business goalsConduct cost analysis across projects, product lines, and business units to support margin improvementManage inventory valuations, asset registers, and depreciation schedulesCoordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions to meet reporting and audit requirementsAdminister and optimise the MYOB Acumatica ERP system for accounting, payroll, inventory, and reporting functionsDrive improvements to internal financial controls and accounting processesProvide timely financial insights to support business planning and executive decision-makingAbout YouTertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CA/CPA qualified)Minimum 5 years (or more) of full-function accounting experience, preferably within a commercial, manufacturing, or industrial environmentStrong knowledge of MYOB Acumatica or similar ERP systems (desirable but not essential)Demonstrated ability to manage external audits and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards (desirable but not essential)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailProven ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, multi-functional roleClear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsWhats on OfferPermanent, full-time role in Welshpool with parking on-siteStrategic position reporting directly to the Managing DirectorOpportunity to make a tangible impact in a growing global businessStable and supportive team culture with autonomy and varietyApply NowIf youre looking for a standalone finance role where you can make a real impact, submit your resume and cover letter today.
