Role Overview The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient performance, strong sales results, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves leading a team, managing inventory, and driving business growth in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties and Responsibilities Plan, organise, and manage overall store operations Monitor and achieve sales targets and business objectives Manage budgets, expenses, and profitability Analyse sales trends and implement improvement strategies Maintain stock levels, inventory systems, and purchasing processes Liaise with suppliers to ensure product availability Recruit, train, and supervise staff Prepare staff rosters and manage team performance Ensure high standards of customer service Oversee store presentation and visual merchandising Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations Prepare regular reports on sales and operational performance Skills and Requirements Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Customer-focused approach Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1 year experience in retail management Proven experience managing store operations and teams Strong knowledge of inventory control and merchandising Experience in budgeting and financial management Relevant qualification in Business or Retail Management (preferred)
