St John NSW is seeking a People & Culture Generalist with a strong interest in providing generalist HR and systems support to join our People, Performance & Culture team. This role is ideal for an HR generalist who enjoys balancing handson employee support with improving how people experiences, processes, systems and data work together. Youll be a trusted point of contact for managers and staff members while also playing a key role in the ongoing optimisation, administration, and adoption of our new HRIS. About the role: This is a genuinely varied role where no two days are the same. Youll support the employee lifecycle, provide practical HR advice, and ensure our HR systems and data enable great people outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Providing daytoday HR advice and generalist support to managers and staff members Managing employee agreements, change movements, leave processes and administration Acting as a key HRIS user, maintaining accurate employee data and documentation Supporting managers and employees to use the HR system effectivelyAssisting with HR reporting, workforce metrics, and compliance tracking Providing support to other People & Culture team member with peak workloads and project support About you: Experience in a generalist HR role, with handson HRIS involvement Diploma or degree qualification in Human Resources or a related field or HR generalist experience Confident working with HR systems and employee data, with strong attention to detail Strong communicator who can translate policy and systems into practical advice Valuesaligned and motivated by working in a purposedriven organisation Enjoys supporting other team members to support workload and project support Meaningful work that impacts the communities across NSW A values based organisation Supportive, collaborative People & Culture team Birthday and Volunteer Leave Salary Packaging and Entertainment Card tax benefits Whats next?
