Role will involve gastroscopies, colonoscopies, outpatient clinics, inpatients and on-call roster duties. Any subspecialty interest is welcome. Responsibilities & Qualifications Current medical practitioner, registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellow of the FRACP with GESA conjoint recognition in endoscopy (as provided under the Staff Specialists [State] Award). Demonstrated current clinical practice of a high standard and ability to adapt clinical practice to contemporary evidence-based best practice. Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management. Experience in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, including supervision of junior medical staff. Commitment to ongoing self-education and development, including participation in continuing medical education/continuing professional development. Ability to comply with service objectives of a public health organisation, provide services to the local community, and participate in health services at an LHD level. Preparedness to participate in hospital, service or LHD on-call rosters. Ability to work cooperatively with other staff and practitioners in a multidisciplinary health care team.
