Location Harvey, IL, US, 60426 Salary Competitive salary range: $64,000 - $74,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Within the OEM/Automotive Fluids R&D group, we develop cutting-edge lubricants for a diverse range of vehiclesfrom everyday passenger cars to high-performance off-road racing machines. Beyond innovation, we provide critical technical expertise to our partners in Product Management, Sales, and Quality. Reporting to the R&D Group Leader, the successful candidate will drive team success by formulating and testing nextgeneration automotive fluids. We are seeking a proactive, handson selfstarter who stays ahead of industry trends and fosters strong collaborative relationships across our Technical, Quality Control, and Operations departments. Qualifications Master in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or Bachelor with a minimum of two years experience working in a technical role. A degree in Chemistry is preferred. Familiar with lab procedures and testing. Able to conduct handson laboratory experiments and tests in an organized and safe manner. Enjoys working in the laboratory and thrives in a dynamic and demanding environment. Excellent record keeping and documenting skills, such as maintaining a wellorganized lab notebook. Strong problemsolving, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills. Selfmotivated and able to work independently. Ability to organize and summarize results and present them to the technical group. Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
