Job Description

Catholic Healthcare is seeking passionate and caring individuals to assist older Australians living independently at home in Darlinghurst and surrounding suburbs. You will travel to clients homes throughout the area, providing a varied and rewarding role. Pay and Hours Hourly rate ranges from $33.40 to $42.88 (includes superannuation). 99 cents per km is reimbursed. Permanent parttime or casual positions are available with flexible hours and days. Roles and Responsibilities Support clients with daytoday inhome tasks such as cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the care plan. Transport clients to appointments and shopping. Prepare meals. Provide social support or respite for family and carers. Assist with personal care, including showering and dressing (requires qualification or full training). Qualifications and Requirements Genuine passion for delivering highquality care to older Australians in the community. Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people. Good communication skills. Reliable team player. Understanding of workplace health and safety. Certificate III or IV in Individual Support highly regarded (not essential). Valid Australian drivers licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential). Benefits Competitive hourly pay with km reimbursement and paid travel time.
