Civil and Scape has recently created an opening for an experienced and qualified Landscape Gardener and Horticulturist. The successful candidate will work around Sydneys inner city and outer suburbs providing services to a diverse range of projects, from highend residential to highrise city centre commercial projects as well as council maintenance work. Civil and Scape is looking for a knowledgeable, wellpresented and diligent applicant to join our team immediately. Prerequisites CertificateIII or above in Horticulture studies 3years experience in horticulture and/or greenkeeping Ability to operate all garden maintenance equipment Sound understanding of WHSE and operation in line with NSW WHSE practices Good verbal and written communication skills Basic to moderate written and computing skills (basic Word and Excel) Manual drivers licence Current drivers licence Current White Card NSW Role The role generally requires the candidate to be someone who: Present well in attire and manner, particularly when liaising with clients and in front of the general public Operate efficiently, diligently and work independently without supervision Has good communication skills when liaising with the team and clients The role entails the following daily/weekly duties: Oversee cultivation and maintenance of trees and plants Monitor health and growth of trees and plants Provide advice to clients and the business as required General landscape maintenance (watering, feeding, cutting, hedging, pruning, cleaning, etc.) Order materials as required and allocate costs to each project Report fortnightly on expenses, including project cost allocation Role Offer Working hours generally Monday to Friday, 7:00am4:00pm (5day week) Company car and telephone provided Annual salary of $55,000$75,000, including superannuation Majority of work will be based around the inner city and suburbs of Sydney Genuine opportunity to become head of maintenance division as the business grows Expected Start Date: 15/02/2021 Job Types: Fulltime, Permanent Salary: $55,000.00 $75,000.00 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
