About the Role and How We Work As a product engineer at Ashby youll manage a large portion of a product from end to end. Youll research competitors, write product specs, create wireframes, and build the implementation while collaborating closely with product managers and designers. Designed and built automated interview scheduling, unlocking a Calendar Tetris solution for candidates and recruiters. Built a generalized declarative filter architecture that lets users create complex filters and compile them to SQL. Specced, designed, and implemented a fully online offersigning feature, coordinating with customers and engineering teams. Qualifications Full-stack experience with a willingness to work across the entire stack. Comfort with product and technical ambiguity, building powerful abstractions to solve broad problems. Strong balance of speed and quality, delivering highquality code under tight timelines. Ambitious, eager to improve skills, and open to feedback. Excellent collaborator and communicator, working with stakeholders and peers. Drive to create leverage by abstracting and automating tedious work.
