ABOUT THE ROLE We are recruiting for two newly established roles for Upstream Operations Superintendents (Borefields) to oversee Borefield operations and dewatering activities, as well as pumping of water through to the solar evaporation ponds, grade control, harvesting activities and onlake infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable and highquality brine supply aligned with the dynamic ponds model, massbalance requirements and inventory targets. These leadership positions will be responsible for driving efficiency, predictability and performance across our upstream production systems. Your Key Technical Responsibilities will include: Manage mass balance, inventory statements and pond chemistry to meet dynamic pond model targets Oversee pumping systems, pipelines and brine transfer to meet weekly/monthly production plans Lead grade control, sampling accuracy and reporting Ensure continuous paleochannel borefield production, utilisation and GWOS compliance Support drilling programs and new production bore installations Oversee pond cell harvest planning, execution and reporting Develop blending strategies to meet plant feed quality requirements Manage mining budgets, cost performance and contractor execution Maintain robust QA/QC, minimise contamination and ensure consistent feed quality Lead statutory compliance as Quarry Manager / Schedule 26 appointee Deliver accurate grade, pumping, cost and production analytics Drive continuous improvement across upstream operations ABOUT YOU Were looking for a highly motivated leader who thrives in a fastpaced environment with strong knowledge of dewatering, pumping, borefields, brine transfer into crystallisation ponds, evaporation pond chemistry, hydraulics and salt production supported by a Degree in Chemistry, Geology or Engineering which would be highly regarded, plus your experience of over 10 years in mining or civil operations, especially within the Potash or knowledge of the Brine industry, would be highly regarded. To be successful in the role you will have: WA Quarry Managers Certificate + Schedule 26 statutory competencies Proficiency in Office 365, Pronto, Aconex and INX (advanced user) Proven capability in budgeting, contractor management and operational reporting Experience leading diverse operational teams in remote or challenging environments Strong ability to interpret technical data, solve complex problems and make sound operational decisions A proactive, safetyfocused approach with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement The ability to build strong working relationships and communicate clearly across all levels WHAT WE OFFER YOU Our culture is inclusive, friendly, and fun.
