Job Description About Us JBS Australia, part of the global JBS business, is the largest and most respected meat and food processor in Australia with a strong portfolio of leading beef, lamb, pork, salmon and value-added products. Our Northern division operates five beef processing plants across Queensland and Northern NSW, producing more than 400,000 tonnes of beef products every year. Situated on 2,000 ha, the JBS Riverina Plant is a part of the Riverina integrated farming, feedlot and processing operation. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality one of only two in the southern hemisphere. Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), our location ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef. The plant employs approximately 420 team members with a processing capacity of 600 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week. Why work for JBS Australia? Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is ideally suited to a technically astute professional who thrives in collaborative, crossfunctional environments and is passionate about driving continuous improvement to support the achievement of shared organisational goals. Key responsibilities Reviewing and analysing operational processes to ensure continuous improvement opportunities are captured and actioned Facilitating continuous improvement initiatives designed to eliminate waste, nonvalued added activities and improve performance across safety, quality, product delivery, cost and inventory management Collaborating with the production team to analyse key performance data Developing employee capability (skills and culture) for sustaining CI improvements Leading CI projects to deliver sustained operational and functional improvements Executing improvement plans and initiatives to support the rollout and education of CI Providing regular progress updates including reports and analysis About You Demonstrated handson experience delivering process improvements within a manufacturing environment CSSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSC-CLSSGB) certification Mechanical aptitude with a background in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing advantageous Demonstrated experience using modern Operational Excellence and CI methods Strong project management, organisational and presentation skills Tertiary qualifications in Operational Planning (or equivalent) advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
