OverviewEmployment Type: Temporary Full Time Position Classification: Registered Nurse (RN2-8) Remuneration: $39.51 - $52.62 per hour + superannuation Requisition ID: REQ656028 Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN2-8), Primary Care, TFT upto 28 February 2027 - Long Bay Hospital Complex - Inpatient and Ambulatory areas This is a Targeted Aboriginal Position: Preference will be given to applicants of Aboriginal descent. Exemption is claimed under Section 21 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Responsibilities We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and with at least one year of nursing experience. The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management. Location The Long Bay hospital is located in the Long Bay Correctional Complex in Malabar. The work location offers free onsite parking, gym and subsidised caf options within the complex. Salary & Benefits Your hourly rate of $39.51 - $52.62 per hour (+ superannuation) is the starting point.
