This acquisition brings exciting opportunities for access to world class resources, technologies and career development pathways, opening the door to some of the best opportunities in the industry.About the RoleTruck Centre (WA) is currently seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanics to join our new Recon workshop at our Maddington site, on a full-time basis. This role will see you being responsible for providing a high quality of workmanship on our Mack, UD and Volvo Truck products, with a mixture of new vehicles and carrying out refurbishments of older vehicles to the standards expected of our product names.Being a Dealership environment, you will have full access to diagnostic information, product specialists, specialist tooling, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your skills continually develop as the product evolves.The new facility boasts sand blasting equipment, powder coating facilities as well as a full length spray booth and new, modern workshop.The Successful ApplicantTo be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate sufficient training and experience as a qualified technician and possess the following:Experience in a heavy road transport service and repair environment (highly desirable)Self-Motivation and the ability to work autonomouslyThe ability to mentor and develop apprentices on your teamExperience with Mack, UD and/or Volvo Product (highly desirable, although not essential)Strong commitment to health and safety in the workplacePositive and proactive approach to your workWhat We OfferCompetitive remuneration and annual CPI increasesLoyalty Leave - additional day of leave per year of service (up to 5 days)Exposure to factory training, our in house training department, industry leading tooling, product specialists and diagnosticsRecognition and rewardsA workplace that cares about your safety supporting the Zero Harm initiativeHealth and Wellbeing MATES programme - EAP counselling and support #J-18808-Ljbffr
