Were seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic to join our team at Western Powers brandnew,stateoftheart South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located just off Tonkin Highway or our Pinjarra depot located in the South. Your Role in Action As a key member of our maintenance team, youll work handson across Western Powers fleet of heavy vehicles and plant, ensuring reliability, safety, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include: Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Performing inspections, safety checks, and compliance work Repair and ongoing maintenance of heavy vehicles and plant equipment This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of modern equipment in a highperforming team. This role is covered under the CEPU Agreement and offers an attractive hourly base rate ranging from $56.00 to $66.52 per hour, dependent on qualifications and authorisations held. In addition, employees receive a site allowance of $2.50 per hour applied to all hours worked. This package reflects our commitment to rewarding skills, experience, and flexibility. Essential skills & experience: AQF3 Trade Qualification in Heavy Duty Mechanics, Auto Electrics, or Mechanical Fitting Proven industry experience as a Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and lowvoltage electrical systems Strong teamwork skills and a reliable, proactive work ethic Desirable licences (or willingness to obtain): WAHR Drivers Licence High Risk Licence EWP High Risk Licence Dogging High Risk Licence Forklift Why Join Western Power?
