The organization is also committed to prevention and preparedness programs to minimize the occurrence and impact of emergencies.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Sydney, NSW, for Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Auto Electrical and Body Repairers. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy vehicles and firefighting equipment. The responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, ensuring all vehicles and equipment meet safety standards. Additionally, you may supervise junior staff and contribute to maintaining operational readiness for emergency response services.QualificationsExperience in Vehicle Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and working with Heavy EquipmentSkills in diagnosing and Troubleshooting technical or mechanical faults in heavy vehiclesSupervisory Skills, including team coordination and oversightTechnical knowledge of auto electrical systems and body repair techniquesUnderstanding of workplace safety and compliance requirementsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesRelevant trade qualifications, such as certifications in vehicle mechanics or auto electrical workExperience in emergency services or similar industries is advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
