What youll do As the Product Development Manager, you will craft our category roadmap, aligning with Woolworths strategy to deliver marketleading innovation and value. You will champion the customer in every decision, leading agile teams to set the benchmark for product quality and organoleptic excellence. Support the creation of directional frameworks and define product brand values, translating global trends and customer insights into a product roadmap. Coach your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and uplifting technical capability to build true Category SMEs. Oversee the endtoend delivery of diverse product ranges, ensuring all launches land on time while exceeding customer expectations for quality, choice, and value. Take full accountability for product quality standards and characteristics, ensuring our range consistently leads the market. Collaborate with Leads and stakeholders to manage capacity, while building external networks to identify new opportunities for innovation and collaboration. What youll bring Strong experience in product development and management, with a proven track record of mentoring or coaching highperforming teams. The ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, anticipating roadblocks and embedding solutions to drive consistent results. Advanced partnering skills to influence outcomes across a largescale ecosystem. A tertiary degree or diploma (3year minimum) in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts or a related food industry discipline. 8 - 10 years in Product development & management/ leadership experience within a complex / matrix environment. A genuine obsession with food and product innovation, underpinned by an understanding of lifestyle trends and their impact on Australian customer behaviour.
