From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, were here to help people live their best lives.Were looking for people who are flexible to work a mixture ofday, afternoon and active overnight shifts because great support happens around the clock.What youll doAs a Residential Support Worker, you will:Support residents with daily living activities such as personal care, food preparation, medication support, and mealtime routines.Encourage independence and skill-building through person-centred support and teaching moments (big and small).Create opportunities for residents to connect with their community, explore interests, and engage in meaningful activities.Work alongside team leaders and colleagues to implement Person-Centred Plans (PCPs).Maintain accurate documentation and records to support safe, quality and empowering care.Complete admin tasks such as compliance reporting, client paperwork and incident documentation while following genU policies and WHS standards.What youll bringA warm, supportive and person-first approach.The ability to stay flexible, calm and adaptable especially when routines change.A genuine desire to empower people with disability to live independently.A sense of humour and a positive team spirit.Youll also need:Certificate III or IV in Disability or related qualificationCurrent Victorian Driver LicenceFirst Aid & CPRNDIS Worker Screening CheckNDIS Worker Orientation Module (Quality, Safety & You)Working with Children Check (Employee)Why youll love working with usAt genU, we celebrate diversity and the unique perspectives each person brings.
