Ongoing (permanent) position Technical 3 - Remuneration Package $97,396 - $106,715 (including salary $82,325 - $90,206) Parks and Wildlife Operations is seeking an experienced Senior Wildlife Ranger to help deliver the NTs saltwater crocodile management and public safety programs. Working with the Director and Chief Wildlife Ranger, you will provide technical leadership, supervise staff, undertake field operations (including remote work), and contribute to regulatory, research and community engagement activities under the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 1976. The successful applicant will bring strong experience in wildlife management (ideally in an NT context), advanced animal handling skills (including crocodiles), sound leadership and communication abilities, and a willingness to work in challenging remote environments. Relevant qualifications and licences (e.g. Coxswain, firearms, investigations) are desirable. Explore working for the NT Government.
