Job Info Location: HOBART, TAS Salary: Not Specified Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job DescriptionAquaculture Farm Workers Oyster Farm (15 Positions) Location: Hobart Region, TAS About the Role: We are seeking 15 Aquaculture Farm Workers for full-time positions at an oyster farm in the Hobart region. Work will involve all aspects of oyster production, handling, and farm maintenance in a marine environment. Duties Include: Grading, sorting, and handling oysters Cleaning oyster baskets, trays, and equipment General farm maintenance and upkeep Working on the water and on land-based farm areas Assisting with harvesting and packing processes Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements Employment Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Start Date: June 2026 Hours: Minimum 38 hours per week (full-time) Ordinary Hours of Work: Between 6:00am 6:00pm Days of Work: Monday to Sunday, rostered based on operational requirements (including weekends and public holidays where required) Pay Rate: Paid under the Fishing Industry Award 2020 (MA000056) (or applicable Enterprise Agreement if relevant) Base Rate: From $30.35 per hour (plus applicable penalties and overtime) Superannuation paid in accordance with legislation Requirements: Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in outdoor and marine environments Comfortable working in and around water Ability to work in a team environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends Available for ongoing full-time employment Additional Information: Number of positions available: 15 Location of work: Hobart Region, TAS (single site oyster farm) Minimum hours of work: 38 hours per week Span of hours: 6:00am to 6:00pm Days of work: Monday to Sunday, including weekends and public holidays as required Work environment: Outdoor marine environment, including exposure to water, tides, and varying weather conditions Pay and conditions: In accordance with the Fishing Industry Award 2020 (MA000056) or applicable EBA Training: On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required Right to work: Applicants must have unrestricted legal rights to work in Australia How to Apply: Please submit your application including your resume and availability.
