Submit online your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential Requirements:Qualification: Bachelor of Social WorkRegistration: Eligibility of Australian Association of Social WorkSelection Criteria:Demonstrated high level knowledge and skills in social work assessment, crisis intervention and counselling with patient and their families in both an inpatient and outpatient settings, with relevant demonstrated skills relevant to coping with illness, disability and bereavement.Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes.Sound knowledge of developmental frameworks and the impact of chronic illness, disability, treatment, bereavement and hospitalisation on patients and family.Well-developed time management skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills and high level computer literacy.Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients and families and stakeholders within the health environment.Commitment to professional supervision, building professional skills and capacity, and willingness to seek appropriate guidance and direction.Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.Participate in the After Hours Crisis On-Call Social Work Service and Class C Drivers License.Requisition ID: REQ657859Applications Close:17th May 2026Need moreinformation?Discover more about theapplication process.Review the detailed Position Descriptionfor insights into role requirements and criteria.
