Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is now hiring! Job Description About the Role Are you a people person who loves a fast-paced environment and knows their way around a coffee machine? We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team on a casual basis. As a valued member of our caf team, you will be responsible for delivering a welcoming customer experience while preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, light meals, and snacks. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages. Taking customer orders and operating the point-of-sale system. Assisting with basic food preparation. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety and hospital standards. Providing efficient and friendly service to customers, patients, and staff. We are looking for someone who has: Previous caf or hospitality experience (barista skills highly regarded). A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong customer service focus and a friendly, professional manner. A willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings and weekends.
