We support our Patients by linking them to case managers for ongoing treatment and support within an environment appropriate to the person''s needs.The Eating Disorders Coordinator role is an opportunity to shape the future of specialist care across the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. This position leads the development and coordination of evidencebased treatment models and integrated pathways for people experiencing eating disorders, ensuring services across inpatient and community settings are connected, contemporary, and responsive. Working closely with service managers, senior clinicians, and a wide network of internal and external partners, the role is central to delivering the NSW Eating Disorders Service Plan within the district and driving meaningful, systemlevel change.A major focus of the position is service development, guiding the evolution of local models of care and supporting the implementation of new approaches that improve access, quality, and outcomes. The role also plays a key part in workforce development by coordinating training, supervision, and capabilitybuilding initiatives that strengthen the skills and confidence of clinicians working with eating disorders. For more information, please click hereChild Safe Standards.For assistance with applying through the NSW Health Career Portal pleaseclick here.What you will bring to the roleProfessional qualifications in Clinical Psychology with current registration with AHPRA and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist; Social Worker eligible for AASW, Current Senior Psychologist or eligible for Senior Psychologist grading with general registration with AHPRA, Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA; Dietitian with bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides for full membership of Dietitians Australia; Registered Nurse/Midwife Division One with AHPRA with a minimum five years full time equivalent post qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in Mental Health nursing and post graduate qualification in Mental Health or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriateDemonstrated ability to apply evidence based knowledge about eating disorders and their treatment in providing clinical services and consultation for adult, children or adolescent populations.Demonstrated experience in consultancy multidisciplinary teamwork, and the ability to engage stakeholders from a range of disciplines.Capacity for planning, implementing, evaluating, reporting and providing advice in clinical service delivery and redesign, involving key stakeholders when needed, including driving innovation and leadership of quality improvement projects.Demonstrated ability in providing clinical consultation and supervision to other health professionals.Demonstrated capacity to show initiative, leadership, work independently and think strategically, while maintaining a high level of organisation to manage a complex workload.Excellent demonstrated communication, interpersonal, documentation and negotiation skills.Current Driver''s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.Need more information?1) Click here for the Position Description2) Find out more about applying for this positionFor role related queries or questions contact Graham Miller on
