What you''ll be doing Perform a range of laboratory investigations and tests (manual and automated) and technical tasks by applying established methods and procedures, as directed. Undertake other laboratory duties including preparation of materials and the maintenance of equipment in line with established laboratory processes, procedures and protocols. Demonstrated ability to manage tasks in a demanding environment where there are competing priorities and time constraints. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, internal and external. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills combined with the ability to investigate and resolve general issues. Proficient computer skills including high attention to detail and data accuracy and the ability to operate and maintain pre analytical equipment. Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information in a laboratory setting, following relevant legislation, policies, and requirements. Willingness to participate in a 24/7 rotating shift roster, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts Current NSW CClass drivers licence (P1 or P2 accepted) is required. Interstate CClass licence holders must obtain an NSW CClass licence within three months of appointment. Learner licences are not accepted. Alternatively, applicants must have the capacity to travel to any site or location within the operational area for a shift as required.
