Fixed-term role for Term 2 Make a real impact supporting student health and wellbeing Work within a collaborative and supportive wellbeing team We are seeking a suitably experienced First Aid Coordinator to join our College Wellbeing team at our Berwick campus on a full-time, fixed-term basis for Term 2, concluding on 26 June 2026. This position is responsible for delivering first aid support to students and staff, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring the First Aid office operates efficiently across our campuses.The workdays and hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 4:30 pm. Key responsibilities include: Providing first aid assistance to unwell or injured students and staff Maintaining accurate treatment records and student medical information Managing medical databases and staff training records (First Aid and Anaphylaxis) Preparing medical information for excursions Monitoring, stocktaking and ordering first aid supplies Ensuring first aid kits are fully stocked and accessible Communicating student medical needs with relevant staff (e.g. Heads of House) Supporting delivery of First Aid-related training and contributing to College communications Responding to emergencies and escalating where requiredContributing to the Campus Wellbeing team and supporting student needs The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes: Level 2 First Aid qualification (essential) Experience in a similar role, with a nursing background highly regarded Strong administration and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Calm and clear communication, particularly in high-pressure situations Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the College Ability to manage competing priorities effectively High level of professionalism and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with SIMON or Synergetic advantageous) Commitment to occupational health and safety Understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic education Why work at St Francis Xavier College?
