The position also involves staff management and overseeing quality control. We are CONFECTIONERY manufacturer and tourist facility located in West Gosford seeking a person with strong mechanical knowledge to maintain machinery and assist with daily tasks including assisting in production. You must also have welding experience. Being a food safety certified business we operate a strict food safety program which is maintained on a daily basis by recording in writing all production and any maintenance that is carried out on the equipment. Your hours may vary depending on any breakdowns or setting of production lines. This is a salaried position therefore there is no overtime unless specifically pre arranged. If you drive a fork lift it would be great but not necessary. You need to be familiar with machines, pumps, gearboxes and mechanical systems as well as regular maintenance and lubrication of the machinery The Company manufactures and sells confectionery products throughout Australia and export markets. Applicant Qualifications If you have preferably worked in the food manufacturing industry and if possible in confectionery and hopefully have familiarity with packing machines such as Flow Wrappers, Carton packers, Conveyors, Overhead Weighers you would have a definite advantage. This is a Full-time position Starting Salary: +$76,500.00 per year Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred) We can offer 482 Sponsorship VISA for applicants under certain conditions which will be discussed further.
