Chef or Cook Large, Modern Child Care CentreAre you a cook who loves creating nutritious meals for children? Join our vibrant, family-owned service, Sprout Early Learning Centre, located in the beautiful beachside suburb of Terrigal. Set on a spacious acreage property, our modern centre offers a warm, welcoming environment and a supportive team culture. What Were Looking For:We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Centre Cook to prepare wholesome, balanced meals and snacks for babies, toddlers, and young children. The ideal candidate will be organised, flexible, and able to cater for a range of dietary needs. This is a full time role, 7.30am to 3.30pm 5 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Prepare daily nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children 05 years Follow weekly menus and manage stock ordering from local suppliers Cater for allergies, intolerances, and cultural dietary needs with care and accuracy Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment aligned with food safety guidelines Assist with preparing food for special events, celebrations, and community fundraisers Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support a positive mealtime culture Qualifications & Requirements: Safe Food Handling Certification: essential Cooks Certificate: highly regarded Experience in a child care or similar setting: preferred but not essential Knowledge of nutrition for young children Ability to meet Food Safety and NSW Health requirements Reliability, flexibility, and excellent time-management skills Current Working With Children Check is essential (application can be lodged upon accepting the role) Why Join Us?
