The purpose of this job is To support the delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes. The Dental Assistant assists with clinical procedures, maintains infection control standards, ensures equipment is properly sterilised, and keeps treatment rooms clean, organised, and ready for patient care. What youll need to make it possible: 2+year Experience or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly regarded; however, we encourage all candidates with a genuine passion for a career in dental assisting to apply. Casual availability with a level of flexibility, including the ability to be on call to cover sick leave and annual leave as required. Demonstrated chair-side assistance skills, including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays, and sound knowledge of dental instrumentation. Strong understanding of infection control, with the ability to clean, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in line with BDC procedures and WHS requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, modern, high-volume dental practice while contributing positively to a supportive team culture.
