Experienced Painter Wanted Neda Painting (Canberra) Neda Painting is a growing, family-owned painting business based in Canberra, and were looking for an experienced painter to join our team. Were after someone who can hit the ground running. This is not a role for someone who is brand new to the industry or looking to be trained from scratch. We want someone with solid experience, strong standards, and the ability to work independently and represent the business well on site. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, hard-working team with real long-term growth potential. About the role You will be working across a range of residential and commercial painting projects in Canberra and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, communicates well, and can be trusted to get the job done properly without being micromanaged. What were looking for Proven painting experience Able to work independently and manage responsibilities on site Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable, punctual, and professional Good communication skills Able to follow direction while also using initiative Someone who thinks ahead, solves problems, and takes ownership A team player who wants to be part of a supportive local business Key responsibilities Surface preparation including sanding, filling, patching and priming Interior and exterior painting Delivering high-quality finishes across residential and commercial jobs Keeping worksites clean, organised, and professional Communicating clearly with the owner and other team members Managing smaller jobs or sections of work independently when required Representing the business professionally with clients and other trades on site What we offer $45-$65 per hour Pay dependent on experience Steady work with a growing local family-owned business Supportive culture with high standards Opportunity for the right person to grow with the business Scope to progress into an Operations Manager role within 12-24 months We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job.
