You will play a key role in leading and developing the production team, driving operational performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Responsibilities: Provide direction & support to the Production Team to ensure targets and KPIs are achieved Manage costs to ensure delivery is met in the most cost-effective manner Ensure employees are trained and competent to safely and effectively run operations Liaise with Maintenance and Planning teams to drive production plans Assist with the development and implementation of process improvement projects supporting the factory and enhancing customer experience Monitor, analyse, and report on production performance, ensuring quality standards are met while optimising efficiency, resource utilisation, and downtime Our ideal candidate: Leads by example to build and strengthen teams Has operational and supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment. Has experience managing safety within an industrial environment Can demonstrate success in managing and leading teams Has strong written & verbal communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across various levels Has experience within the glass industry, including experience in IGU manufacture or experience with glass processing machinery (highly desirable but not essential) Has a hands-on approach, problem solving skills and a mechanical aptitude Has the ability to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive productivity, quality, and cost outcomes How to apply: Apply online today via Seek with a cover letter and resume.
