About the Role We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef/Cook to join our team in a busy Turkish restaurant. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in dough preparation and cooking a variety of dishes such as pide, gzleme, pizzas, and kebabs. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a wide range of Turkish/ mediterranean dishes including: Pide, gzleme, and pizzas Kebabs, shish plates, and snack packs Prepare and handle dough from scratch (mixing, kneading, shaping, and baking) Operate grills and ovens for meat and bread cooking Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety and hygiene regulations Manage prep work, including marinating meats and preparing fresh ingredients Work efficiently during busy service periods Maintain a clean and organised kitchen Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when required Requirements Proven experience as a cook/chef in Turkish, Middle Eastern, or similar cuisine Strong dough-handling skills (essential) Experience with charcoal or gas grills (preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good understanding of food safety standards Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) Team player with a strong work ethic Minimum of 1+ years experience in food service or hospitality environment Preferred Skills Experience making Pizzas, Pides & Gozleme Ability to manage multiple orders under pressure What We Offer Friendly team environment Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within the business
