To learn more visit www.bawbawshire.vic.gov.au About the Role Join Baw Baw Shire Councils Infrastructure Delivery and Major Projects team in this fixed-term Graduate Engineer role through to 9 April 2027, with potential for extension. Supporting a rapidly growing community, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, buildings and open spaces. Working alongside a high-performing and collaborative team, youll gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle - from investigations and prioritisation through to procurement, contract supervision and delivery - ensuring projects are completed to scope, time, cost and quality objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career while playing a key role in delivering infrastructure that meets the needs of a growing community. About the Successful Candidate Degree in Civil Engineering eligible for membership with Institute of Engineers (Australia). Understanding of civil design, construction and project management principles. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach to engaging diverse stakeholders and responding to community needs. Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply sound engineering judgement. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt. Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement. Sound computer skills in Microsoft Office, with exposure to project management and drafting software desirable. A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
