Avoca Engineering is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Hours of work are 7am to 3:06pm Monday to Friday (38 hours per week with additional overtime available on occasions). Key Responsibilities: Set up, program and operate CNC machines including milling machines, mill turn lathes and wire cutting machines to manufacture high precision parts Interpret engineering drawings and specifications Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments Maintain machines and ensure a clean and safe workspace Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines About You: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist Strong understanding of machining processes and materials Ability to read and interpret technical drawings High attention to detail and commitment to quality Good problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Desirable (but not essential): Trade qualification in Engineering or Machining Experience with CNC programming and CAD/CAM software Forklift licence is preferred What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Stable, full-time position Supportive team environment Opportunities for skill development and growth How to Apply:If you are a motivated CNC Machinist looking to join a reputable local company, we would love to hear from you.
