Lead critical Election operations that support democracyDrive complex operations in a fast-paced environmentPlay a key role in the delivery of a high-profile, large-scale event1 x Ongoing Full-time position; 2 x Temporary fixed term positions until 30 June 2027 (with the possibility for extension)About the RoleThe Senior Voting Services Officer plans, coordinates and implements voting operations including resourcing, training and stakeholder engagement to ensure legislative compliance and optimal usability and accessibility for voters. The role will work with the Lead to design and implement the postal voting scrutiny processes and operations.We are currently recruiting positions across the Voting Services (Non-Attendance) team, which comprises of three voting streams:Postal Voting (Ongoing role)Declaration Voting (Temporary role)Technology Assisted Voting (TAV) (Temporary role)As the Senior Voting Services Officer, you will play an important role in the delivery of the upcoming 2027 New South Wales State general election and future election events including State and Local government by-elections.About the NSW Electoral CommissionThe New South Wales Electoral Commission delivers trusted and independent systems, processes, oversight and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales.
